BIP Facilitator Training Indiana Coalition Against Domestic Violence (ICADV) Batterer Intervention Program Standards mandate that individuals seeking to become Certified Batterer Intervention Program Facilitators must provide evidence of observing 26 ICADV Approved BIP sessions. Then you must provide evidence of Co-Facilitating 26 additional BIP sessions with a BIP Supervisor/Trainer. These requirements are online at http://www.violenceresource.org/bipstand.htm#standards These requirements can be met by training with Nonviolent Alternatives. We simply enroll you in our program as a client for 52 sessions. During this time you are required to comply with all the terms of our standard client enrollment agreement, including payment terms. BIP Facilitator Trainees are also required to sign and adhere to our BIP Facilitator Training Agreement . During the first 26 weeks stage of training you will be enrolled and treated as a client. You do not need to have any formal training prior to beginning the first stage of observation, which is essentially going through our program as a client. During the second 26 session stage, you will be Co-Facilitating sessions with an ICADV Certified Supervisor/Trainer. You must complete all formal training at the Co-Facilitator level in accordance with the ICADV BIP Standards prior to beginning your second stage of training with us. |
